BSNL EVDO Prepaid is now available in Kerala and Tamil Nadu

Finally after a long wait, BSNL has started rolling out its EVDO services in prepaid. At the moment, they have introduced Prepaid service in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

This news will put a smile on people who were waiting to go for BSNL EVDO Prepaid service. Especially for students and those who need internet for doing less work tend to opt for prepaid since they can pay for what they use.

BSNL EVDO Prepaid pricing and tariff is also quite interesting. I believe that they framed this structure keeping flexibility in mind, since they even allow activation for existing data card (modem) the customer wishes to get activated. Having said that, it is still not clear whether one can buy a third-party device and get it activated. I will clarify it here sooner or later. And also the prepaid tariff has the Unlimited plan which is identical to that of postpaid.

And as far as pricing and tariff in Prepaid is concerned, please read the following stuff:

I would like to thank the JTO of BSNL, Bangalore for bringing this into my concern. He reported the availability of prepaid service in these two states and also informed me that prepaid service will soon be available in Karantaka as well. I will let you know here when it is out in Karnataka. Stay tuned!

  2. You should go to the nearest bsnl telephone exchange where you got the connection from and probably you will need to give them a letter requesting for change.
