BSNL EVDO now available in Cuttack, Rourkela and Haldia

Good news for people seeking to buy BSNL EVDO in places mentioned in the title. BSNL has started its EVDO service in Cuttack and Rourkela in Orissa and Haldia in West Bengal.

One of the two members from the forum who reported about the availability in Cuttack & Rourkela says that Rourkela has a good coverage and the speed is around 1 - 2.2 Mbps. (But do note that it may vary from place to place). But whereas there is no speed report from Cuttack (Orissa) and Haldia (WB) yet.

Thanks to our forum members for updating us in this thread. If BSNL starts EVDO service (be it CDMA 1x or EVDO), please kindly inform us in that thread which helps others like it does in this post.

    i was looking 4 bsnl evdo for long time .but i was in doubt the speed of it .what is the act speed of it ? i live in rourkela & the signal is good over hear.

    Hi Friends ! I m from Jashipur, Mayurbhanj District of Orissa, Planning to buy 1 Bsnl EVDO Data Card, but I have to procure it from Karenjia, Still they are saying that I have to collect it from Keonjhar district.. But my point is weather there is EVDO coverage in Jashipur or not, and as per my knowledge no other Network will do good in Jashipur.. I need Net desperately for office use, No cost issue guys ! please help me. ( dont advise me to consult Local BSNL office guys).

    Somebody help me ! i need it on or before 20th October 2011 !

    suggest me guys ! they are saying EVDO will work in jashipur, but some other people is saying it will be low speed !!
    but I need speed guys!

    I just bought a bsnl evdo ( Haldia) before 15 days and subscribed for an unlimited plan . But the speed is very slow. Here is the link of my speed details. Pls help me where to complain.......

    Experience of BSNL EVDO @ HALDIA
    Getting 3 to 4 bars of signal from the riverside quarters
    Frequent disconnection issues
    Speed is just around 100kBps in torrents.
    Speed dropping every 5 secs
