BSNL EVDO Now Available in few more cities/towns in MH, TN and KL.

Good news for BSNL EVDO seekers in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and the god's own country Kerala. BSNL EVDO is now available in following states as follows:

Maharashtra (MH): In Maharashtra this service is now available in Virar and Vasai located at Thane District in suburbs of Mumbai.

Tamil Nadu: In TN, Thirunager in Madurai is the addition. People can now avail this service in this place.

Kerala (KL): Kottayam, Gandhinagar, Pampady, Pala, Changanacherry (Kottayam District) and Kodungallur in Thrichur District.

I would like to thank to Anush for letting us know about the MH Coverage, sasikumardr and Aravind Jose. T for KL coverage and sgarasu for TN Coverage. If BSNL starts EVDO service (be it CDMA 1x or EVDO), please kindly inform us in this thread which helps others like it does in this post.

    poor coverage in east masi st area and keerathurai area
    poor response from 1500 customer care. bsnl is cheating all. line always disconnects.

    Maharashtra (MH): In Maharashtra this service is now available in Amravati City, Dist- Amravati.

    i am using the EVDO network since from the last year... i planned to shift to mysore and need a help to know about coverage over there...and my place is near nanjangud. mysore district . 25 KM away from mysore

    I would like to inform everybody that BSNL claims to have national roaming on EVDO data card but most of the cities are not having EVDO facilities on the CDMA towers.
    I dont know what is the need of telling National roaming without capable of provding it.
    not expected from BSNL.
