BSNL EVDO now available in Noida and Allahabad.

Good news to people who are waiting to grab this connection in Noida and Allahabad.
According to our forum members, BSNL has rolled out EVDO Service in these two cities (Noida and Allahabad) from past few weeks.

Now what we are looking forward is for reviews from users from these cities. So that we can get the clear picture of quality of service and the speeds they are receiving. According to one of our Noida user, BSNL has already sold 4 รข€“ 5 units in just few days.

Anyway, if you are from these two cities and get the connection, please do let us know about the service and speeds.

If BSNL starts EVDO service (be it CDMA 1x or EVDO), please kindly inform us in that thread which helps others like it does in this post.

    I got a very high speed in the beginning when i initially took this EVDO card
    but now as on date i am getting 0 bps
    at d max 1969 bps
    on the other hand at the beginning i got an impressive speed of 650KBps
    what should i do now

    i am residing in mirzapur and using bsnl evdo device since last 6 months with 1x CDMA speed , which varies around 256-330 kbps in device monitor, does anyone know when will actual EVDO service will start with a speed oh 2.4 mbps.

    I want to get Internet Connectivity in Allahabad.But when I confirmed with BSNL Allahabad about EVDO card,they said it has not been launched yet.Please tell me I can buy it from Noida and then use it in Allahabad.Can I rely on its speed?As above user reviews show that its not 100% reliable in terms of its performance.

    I am using EVDO in Greater NOIDA and NOIDA. Awesome speed. 130Kbps download !! Yes Kilobytes !

    I am very happy with it. Sometimes the connectivity breaks due to technical fault but the BSNL team is always found repairing it whenever I call. And they do repair it promptly the same day.

    The last SDO was very humble and helpful. Current SDO is also very good listener.

    I am the first customer in Greater NOIDA. I am happy about it.

    EVDO does not have coverage in Delhi. If you like, you can go for MTNL 3G services which is same as EVDO.

    Allahabad bsnl office confirms that evdo is not available. Can I purchase the card from lucknow and use it in Allahabad?

    I am getting 2kbps to 5kbps.sometime getting 10kbps to 12kbps
    it's awfull speed,network tower getting full but speed is 2kbps.so please upgrade EVDO speed. Tata-Photon also coming soon
    in Manipur.

    i am not happy with the evdo.in greater noida...
    i use to get speed of 60-80 kb/sec on my regular bsnl broadband plan ...
    but now i am getting 720kbps............i want to make it clear to all of u who r seeing the number only...that 720kbps is different from the 720kb/sec.
    so now i m getting regular speed of downloading a file 12-15kb/sec which is not good at all.i purchased this evdo card by seeing the tagline offering speed upto 2.4mbps with a monthliy plan of 750.....

    hi, i purchased bsnl EVDO card At ernakulam and i started getting a constant speed from 1 to 1.2mb/ps .I am so surprised to get this speed I recomend all of u to take evdo card smooth speedish internet.BSNL rocks

    I live in gurgaon and hav been using airtel 256 for 4+ years. Lately i had a bad experience with their customer service and now really wanna move to BSNL EVDO.

    Appreciate if someone can provide me the details like wheather they have sevices in sector 15 gurgaon or not. If yes how can get a new connection here. Any numbers ??

    Hi,
    Can anyone tell me where and whom to contact to get the EVDO in Noida. Airtel broadband in noida is really expensive as compared to Delhi, Ghaziabad and Faridabad. I need to switch to some other alternative soon.

    I have applied for evdo 1x connection and purchsed the data modem from local BSNL office but its disgusting indeed after two weeks also not yet activated. Its happening just due to carelessness of the concern authority . We have been told that activation will be done at Kolkata , Its hell ! Get lost this Bsnl.
